Talleres SASPI, SA is a company founded in 1961 in Azkoitia by seven partners. The name SASPI is derived from "zazpi" (seven in Basque). It is a company that since its inception it has clear that local and national market was not his goal. The true potential of their machines sales was abroad. Although been a humble company, it was a pioneer in machine tool exports abroad and outside Europe, overcoming all the problems they had at the time. It was a company belonging to a market that in Spain had virtually no competitors and worldwide were few companies competing on the same level and dare to export.
The last few years, and to overcome the introduction of new industries to market SASPI chose to increase the quality and technology of machines to excel in the market and most elite specialized industries such as automotive and aerospace. These industries are very strong and powerful industries where part quality matters more than price.
